Kapish?

I’ve got no idea what this blog is about. I just write write and write. Half of the time it’s totally gibberish. Some blogs really have a focus. Mine doesn’t. Kinda reflects my mind—it’s totally all over the place! It’s annoying!

Do you read your old blog posts? I seldom do, because sometimes when I look back, it just sounds odd that I would write that. Ya know what I mean? O.o

Today I’m going to write in point forms. Because when there’s too much on your mind, you just gotta learn how to be efficient. Which is btw, translates to not wanting to type full sentences a.k.a. being lazy.

TOP one-oh on the royal brain

  1. My room looks like a hurricane just passed through
  2. It’s going to be the end of the world already & I’m not even married yet!
  3. This kid
  4. This guy
  5. This weekend’s event
  6. Going to watch America’s Next Top Model
  7. American Idol
  8. Wanting to buy from this shop but something wrong with the payment process
  9. Friday Friday Friday (my head is imprinted with this song)
  10. Sheep

Take care and have a nice week! xoxo

Work… or Death?

In between work that is piling up and the Japan tsunami, I just feel really bad writing about anything else.

It’s funny how we continue working when we know people on the other side of the world are dying.

Let’s donate and pray.

Hijab: To wear or not to Wear

I’m not considering whether to take off my hijab or not, don’t worry. Not even close.

I questioned what open mindedness was in a past entry. I think that open mindedness is accepting how people are, and how things happen even though it might not be like what we’re used to. But morals are morals, religion is religion, and crime is still a crime.

Just when I thought I’m in an open-minded environment, somebody had to mess it up.

Exhibit 1:

“If you wear your tudung, how want to do business ah? You should take it off”…..

Wow really? Wearing hijab does not in any way hinder my ability to work, and if you are required to show how svelte your curves are at work, you might as well pay a model to do it. Then you probably should just open a modeling agency. Then I hope you go bankrupt.

As much as I wanted to tell him what bullsh** he was talking about, and that he should sod off; instead I told him, then what if somebody came and told you, if you wanna be rich, you cannot wear pants at work. He laughed and said of course la cannot. Exactly.

If you consider race, gender, academic qualifications, height and others, wearing hijab is really the least you should worry about affecting your work performance.

As Black Eyed Peas aptly puts it:

But if you only have love for your own race
Then you only leave space to discriminate
And to discriminate only generates hate

So don’t discriminate! Peace ya’ll!
